what is ixd.net and why the “i!” logo?

IxD is the popular acronym for “Interaction Design.”

The site name, “ixd!” and the logo  of 2 orange characters “i!” are chosen to stress 2 important things:

1) “i” is for the human needs/desires that drive the design process, and

2) “!” is to remind us to design with passion!

Designers are everyday people working with others to build the future!
